Discharge time is 10am.
Please ensure you have arranged a friend or family member to collect you and accompany you home and care for you on discharge day.
If you are unable to be collected by 10am, the Hospital has a special waiting area for your comfort and convenience.
Discharge planning (before you leave)
Discharge planning is an important part of your admission process. Before you come to hospital you need to plan for your discharge home so that you have the correct services, equipment and support when you arrive home.
Our discharge coordinator is on hand to help you plan your discharge, and arrange community support if required. The discharge coordinator is also the DVA liaison officer.
If you have any concerns regarding your discharge, please let our nursing staff know as early as possible.
You may discharge yourself from hospital or from treatment at any time. You do so at your own risk and you will be asked to sign a self-discharge form before you leave.
